Senior General Liability Defense Attorney
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior General Liability Defense Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, personal injury, and general liability defense.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in court proceedings and depositions
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Manage and mentor junior attorneys and paralegals
- Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution
- Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations related to general liability defense
Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the state of Texas
- At least 7 years of experience in general litigation and insurance defense
- Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of attorneys and paralegals
- Ability to work independently and handle a high volume of cases
- Experience with general liability defense, personal injury, and insurance defense
